Sunday May 3 Update: Opening Soon

As of today at 2:45 pm our professional association was given approval by the provincial government to allow Chiropractors to open their clinics Monday May 4.  We are excited to be able to serve our patients again however, reopening comes with many restrictions and protocols in regard to the current pandemic.  We have ordered the necessary supplies that we need to be in compliance with AHS requirements and are awaiting for their arrival.  We also have to make a few modifications to the clinic, as well as, bringing staff up to date on the new protocols.  Given that social distancing is still in effect, please be advised that we are not allowed to take in walk-in patients at this time (as per AHS requirements).  It is also required that we do a screening process over the phone prior to booking your appointment.  It will also be greatly appreciated if you can please try and arrive at the clinic as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible as that will help us in maintaining the safety of both patients and staff.

As soon as we have a firm opening date we will send out an email to notify you.  In anticipation of opening as early as Thursday May 7, if you would like to leave a message to book an appointment please do so and someone will get back to you (please be aware that the opening is dependent on our supply shipment).

Our patients and staff’s health and wellness is of utmost importance and we thank you for your patience as we prepare our clinic to re-open.  To that end the clinic will open again later this week or early next week (depending on the arrival of supply shipment).

Sincerely,

Dr Brad Pritchard

Monday, March 23 Update: Temporary Office Closure

Effective Monday March 23, 2020, our provincial association has recommended that all Chiropractic offices in the province temporarily close until further notice. We regret that we cannot offer regular adjustments at this time, however, we are able to still provide treatment for acute crisis situations. These situations will be assessed individually by the Doctor over the phone and a course of treatment options will be determined from there. If you are experiencing an acute crisis, please call 403-251-0002 and either Dr Brad or Dr Alex will walk you through the next steps.

We invite you to stay in touch with us via our social media channels (FaceBook, website, Instagram) where we’ll continue to share important practice updates, health tips, and trustworthy research-backed information during this crisis.

We can’t thank you enough for your support and understanding during this time. Please know that we’re here for you and will do everything we can to support our community.

We plan on resuming regular hours and appointments as soon as we are able.

Below is a definition of emergent care as defined by our association.

Emergent care is defined as follows:

1. The patient is in an acute condition where they would be severely physically limited from basic daily activities without chiropractic care

2. The patient is in a sub-acute condition that if left untreated would be vulnerable to an acute flare-up that could leave them severely physically limited from basic daily activities.

Patients who are not experiencing an acute or sub-acute condition as described above, such as someone who has had a slight twinge after their run, are not considered emergent care.

Sincerely,

Dr Brad Pritchard
